If there ever was a time in this country to "Get Out The Vote"….IT IS NOW!

We are in a state of unbelievable crisis at every turn: world affairs, economic sloppiness, internal and political stupidity, insurrection by uncontrolled illegal aliens, a national press with a subversive agenda, a massive disrespect for our laws, moral values and family structures, a generation of young people with apathetic undisciplined guidance, self interest minorities prevailing over the majorities, rap speakers espouse rape, death and disobedience to the values of this society, a divisiveness of our two party system that borders on civil disobedience, and a leaderless group of politicians in congress who by their self centered, collective incompetence are allowing us to slip into this abyss. And as American citizens, so self absorbed in the liberal/conservative in fighting and the "what's in it for me" mentality allow their vote to be purchased by the highest welfare bidder.

The United States is no longer a truly democratic country in the sense that there is balance in our system; we don’t have the honest, realistic, political differences that once kept us on the right track, while maintaining and supporting a common goal for the preservation of our future. There is no such concept anymore of there being “A Loyal Opposition” from either side of the aisle. The democrats are bent on absolutely destroying that which worked so well for a couple a hundred years. They have no loyalty to any idea, program or plan that is in the common good if it does not serve them or is not of their making. All that needs to be said is that if a leftist democrat didn't propose it, their agenda says destroy it, no matter how good it may be for America and our future.

We are in a Holy war, one that was inevitable. It started long before anyone recognized it or had a full understanding of it and it was in the planning stages even before that. If Islam wins this religious war the world of the United States will change forever.

It is not important, right now, how we arrived at this point in our history. No matter who was right or who was wrong, folks, we are deep into the conflict and we must protect our freedom, and ourselves at all costs. A very deep analytical look into our future is imperative, but not too late. We must increase and maintain our tactical strength. We must destroy the enemy, not just spank him and send him to time out; he will come back even stronger and kill us. And we must recognize the need to strategically plan for a long war, even one that may be fought on our shores. We must not let ourselves get suckered into mind-numbing, liberal-think, with a premise that all we need to do is acquiesce and promote a friendly round table negotiation with our enemies. That's just stupid thought, they don’t want to talk, except to buy time, they want the world and us most of all, to conform to their beliefs, behaviors, values and culture. Negotiation implies compromise. There cannot be even one degree of compromise with this enemy that should ever be acceptable to American citizens, or Christians, Jews or any other religion of the free world.

The attack on Iraq may have accelerated the mid-east confrontation, in some views, but it did not change the Islamic ultimate objective. The terrorist’s attacks on us and the world, outside of Islam, were the first trigger pulls that forecast the intentions of Islam and began the open war. Their first salvos were aimed at testing our resolve and they found it lacking, Osama Ben Ladin was allowed to roam the middle east at will and create havoc in his path, while our American President stood by and watched. Then came the 9/11 attack, that's where they made their first strategic mistake; what they didn't realize was they had now fired at a country with a President who would respond and remain committed. He must be allowed to continue the fight and prepare our position for the next President.

Voting in a complete change of control is not the answer to what lies in our future. We are not in a position of, "Let's go out and make nice and everybody will love us, respect us, the war will be over and the terrorists will stop all their plans to take over the world." As Christians perpetuating and living a form of government that gives us more freedoms than any civilization in the history of man we have no future, if we do not stand strong and solidify our position in the world, no matter what the cost.

We are so comfortable in our daily lives we tend to forget and many don't want to recognize that we are in a terrible war for survival, have been at war for at least 10 or 15 years and will be at war until the enemies of our great nation are contained. This is a religious war, don't kid yourself and those enemies do not want us on this planet. They are threatened by us and our beliefs and will go to any end to control us and failing that, attempt to destroy us.

For the moment they seem to have the upper hand in driving the terror war and even in some areas of the ground war. We must change the odds by changing the trend. Given unwavering support and strength to this President and his cabinet to accomplish the objective, the United States military can change those odds immediately. We are in it....let’s win it!

Our enemies around the world watch our internal divisiveness and see a country weakened by the actions and traitorous rhetoric of the far left press, a cut and run cowardice faction in government and an anti-everything agenda by the liberals in our congress. The world is beginning to see us as a country undermined by the greed of its own party system and the pyromaniac, biased press, hoping our internal fighting will bring us to our knees.

They are, one by one, taking advantage of this massive fissure in what used to be a solidly, unified front by all Americans, in previous times like these. Venezuela, Syria, Korea, Saudi Arabia have the audacity to shove their hatred, of all things American, down our throats while standing on our very shores.....we stand by and just take it, hardly any voice was raised against the vitriol-laced, slanderous diatribes and name calling hurled at our president and country. Why did they do it? Because they knew they could get by with it, that the US press would take great glee in their words and the leftists in congress would protect them from any retaliation, verbal or otherwise. They were right, weren’t they?

During the terms of Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Nixon, Reagan and Bush a foreign head of state would not have had the courage to try anything like that even it they harbored that level of disrespect. Kruschev tried, JFK backed him down. They see us now as weak, uncertain, divided and easily frightened into making tactical mistakes. We have chinks in our armor, the biggest being the possibility of a Democratic dominated congress, which the enemy would dearly love to see. The recent mistakes of individual congressmen play directly into their hands. And China sits back, watches and waits.

The democrats selfishly chip away at our national resolve and all the things that made us strong; because they are forced to fight wars on many fronts, a political war at home and a world war abroad the once strong republicans stumble, bumble and lose cohesiveness. Self interest groups and illegal aliens expect, receive and bleed our country from within, making scant contribution. All this because the cowards in congress are afraid they won't be elected back to the trough if they offend this mass of voters. Not a politician in Washington is brave enough to say nuts to it, we need to do what is right for our country, take charge, establish leadership, instill an unselfish level of common sense, clean up our errors and make this country ready for our future generations and we must do it now.

It is time Americans thought for themselves and got mad, mad enough to stop once and for all this idiotic slide into a weak, ruined, disrespected, third level country. We cannot let this country self-destruct under democratic submission. The world must not be let down by a democratic pull out of a war just entered, the enemy won’t, they’ll thrive on our retreat.

Republicans need to take a stand now, show our respect for and prove that we have not sacrificed the lives of so many young people in a cause that will be weakened and ultimately destroyed by a war we will lose if we allow a change in leadership and a loss of what little resolve we have left.

We will truly go down in history as the country that cuts and runs and we will never again regain the respect or position of leadership our ancestors worked so hard to forge and fought so hard to keep.

We have grandchildren who will inherit this great country from us. I, for one, would like to leave them the same kind of country my grandparents and parents left us….a great, strong and respected Nation that they built by themselves, using common sense and constructive disagreement that created a unified country, demanding nor taking anything in return except the freedom they cherished and the realization of job well done. They fought for and gave us a prosperous country with great National pride, whose government acted with a high standard of ethics, moral character and integrity. It had a sense of dignity, a wholesome self esteem, an understanding of what is right, a responsibility, accountability and loyalty to our democracy and it’s system; an elected legislature and executive, that had a genuine concern for the welfare of its people, who saw our citizens as human beings, not just votes to be purchased, and a political system in which the majority prevailed. We shared and gave to the world out of humanitarian compassion for the less fortunate; we did the same at home. We asked nothing in return…not even help when we needed it. We were looked on as kind and generous people, our strong leaders were respected the world over, our form of government and the freedoms we enjoyed were envied and in some cases copied.

When they were threatened, our grandparents put away their differences, said to heck with the cost and worked in concert to defeat the enemies. We need to take a page from the history they left us and do the same again. The democrats don’t seem to want to do that, so we will have to do it ourselves. And I have every confidence we will be a success, if we are given the chance in this election.

One day in the future, I’d like to see a smile, of great pride, on the face of every one of us, when we look down on those grandsons and grand daughters and watch how they handle our strong legacy, don’t you?

This may be our last chance to stay the course. We can’t do it by replacing a committed and resolute leadership in mid-course. Keep them in place with your vote and the votes of those people who might not understand their importance.

If there ever was a time in this country to "Get Out The Vote"….if there is truly a silent majority out there, we desperately need to hear from them. Let’s give some power and support back to the party that will use it to protect this county and set the stage for the future.
